Fabio Federico is a classical guitarist from Calabria, Italy. Innovation and deepening guitar repertoire

Fabio has recorded some soundtracks and has performed various live national radio broadcasts in many countries, often proposing programs by Italian composers of the 19th and 20th centuries, contributing to innovation and deepening of the guitar repertoire.

Fabio plays and holds Masterclasses worldwide, from Europe to South America, Asia, and Canada. In addition, he is a welcome guest to many festivals and concert halls.

A winner of numerous prizes in important national and international guitar competitions, such as the Benvenuto Terzi in Clusone (Bergamo), the Lagonegro International Guitar Competition, the XIII National Competition in the city of Parma, and the XIV Nicola Fago International Competition in Taranto, he has been a guest on numerous television broadcasts.

Education

Fabio Federico graduated at the age of 20 from the "Stanislao Giacomo Antonio" Conservatory in Cosenza under the guidance of Maestro Pietro Morelli. He has attended specialization courses on the repertoire of illustrious exponents of the world guitar scene, including Angelo Gilardino, Tilman Hoppstock, Maurizio Colonna, and Luigi Biscaldi. In 1998 he graduated from the "Lorenzo Perosi" International Academy of High Specialization in Biella, under the guidance of guitarist-composer Angelo Gilardino, reporting the mention of excellence. Finally, he specialized in the 20th-century repertoire under the guidance of Maestro Lucio Matarazzo at the Avellino Conservatory.

Recordings

In 2005 Fabio began his record production with the CD "Estudios" (Ethnoworld © 2005). He has recorded for the magazine "Sei Corde" and the record company "Suonare records" the complete works of the romantic composer Giulio Regondi in world exclusive. In addition, he has recorded for "Dot Guitar" a CD on 19th-century guitar music “800 Guitar Works vol.1” and a CD on 20th-century - “Twentieth Century Guitar Sonatas”.

Sustainable Music Training

For ten years, he has been involved in an innovative educational project to create the scientific basis for a more sustainable training methodology for musicians.
