Meet your host
Gianriccardo Pera
Producer | Director | Audio & Video Production Specialist
Gianriccardo Pera is an experienced producer and director with more than thirty years in television, live entertainment, music, and digital media. He has directed productions for Mediaset TV Italy and produced major entertainment programming for RAI TV and theatrical venues, including the rock opera Notorious.
Throughout his career, Gianriccardo has developed extensive expertise in audio and video production, recording, editing, and post-production. His work combines a strong technical understanding of sound and image with a storyteller's perspective—shaping recorded material into an engaging experience while preserving the authenticity of the original performance.
His experience ranges from multi-camera productions and on-camera interviews to audio editing, video editing, synchronization, post-production, and preparing content for digital distribution. Working across television, music and online platforms has given him a broad understanding of the complete journey from recording to finished media.
Alongside his production work, Gianriccardo specializes in digital communication and presenting artists and creative content online. As host of Beyond Recording, he brings together the artistic, technical, and digital sides of today's recording world, exploring what happens between the performance, the finished production, and the audience.
